RA Series:

Self-priming side channel type pumps, designed to work with clean liquids without solids in suspension. Bi-directional execution. Following the rotation sense, the inlet and outlet are changed over. That means the suction becomes the impulsion and vice-versa.

The body is made in bronze whilst the impeller, intermediate disc and cover plate are all in aluminium bronze with stainless steel shaft. The pumps is also supplied with drip less mechanical seal.

The pumps can be driven by a pulley and v-belt directly or through a friction mechanical clutch. The shaft spins into a couple of widely dimensioned grease lubricated bearings.

The RA pumps series are mainly supplied for the marine industry, on small and medium sized vessels for the following services: sea water circulation in main or auxiliary engines, bailing of bilges, deck washing, etc.

However they are often supplied for other uses, such as wine transfer, liqueurs & similar.
